Oscar Red Carpet Moments

The Oscars are recognized as the most prestigious red carpet moment in the fashion industry and the reason why we are eagerly tuned in and Rachel Zoe, and stylist alike, can finally chill out from the mayhem and look on fondly at their amazing inspirational looks. It might have been a huge night for films, but for us here at NL Collective and all the fashionistas out there it was about who was wearing what on that renowned red carpet.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford

A catwalk for the most famous designers of our time to show off their collections, the Oscars did not disappoint.  As the bright lights gleamed down on some of our favorite actresses, like Gwyneth Paltrow, who looked the epitome of chic wearing a ravishing white Tom Ford gown featuring an asymmetrical neckline and topped with a dramatic white, floor length cape. We tend to ask the questions “I want this! How can I find this look for less?”  We may never get the experience of walking the red carpet at the Oscars or Emmys, but what about walking into a special occasion this spring and summer in an Oscar inspired outfit?  Here are some of NL Collective most desired looks from last night’s star-studded event that we are still drooling over.

Belle Sauvage S/S 2011 Gown

Our very own Belle Sauvage has a gorgeous gown that will also make heads turn as this statement piece that features their signature digital prints and sculptural silhouette.
Michelle Williams looked radiant in a strapless coral-red Louis Vuitton gown with a peplum waist. The NL Collective team adores Purple Ginger’s more casual, short, white, peplum dress, which is ready to turn heads too!

Glen Close looked stunning in a sultry, evergreen Zac Posen dress and a matching jacket. NL Collective’s very own Amorette is also picking up on this classy trend, which isn’t only for the red carpet, and can take you from day to night no matter the occasion.
