Fashion Impact: So Much Leg Room

We may be fairly young here at NL Collective Group, but for as long as we can remember, this summer has been the first time that all different length skirts are IN all at once. And we’re not pulling your leg! Minis (obviously, it’s 90 degrees outside!), knee-length, mid-calf, and maxi skirts have been gracing runways, showrooms, and retail stores everywhere. But most importantly, all of these skirts are on regular girls, on the streets of New York City, on YOU! These skirts are all wearable and flattering on any woman or any body type, which is perfect for branding and marketing to every kind of girl, and they don’t have to cost an arm and a leg. We absolutely love that all different skirt trends are flying around everywhere this summer. Skirts, as they’ve always been, are chic and elegant, but especially this season. They’re versatile in that they’re obviously nice enough to wear out at night or on a date, but with a t-shirt, make a casual and effortless daytime outfit. Fashion industry powerhouses Jil Sander, Oscar de la Renta, Tibi, and Derek Lam have all showed off their various versions of the multifaceted skirt. Luxury brand Selahdor’s consistently glamorous, but we especially love the recent use of all different skirt lengths in the latest Spring/Summer collection. Feminine, sexy, and alluring all at once, these skirts will certainly look ravishing on any woman’s bottom half. Skirts this season are giving us girls SO much freedom—we can show off as much (or as little) leg as we want. So go ahead, stretch your legs, and work these skirts. (Okay, enough with the leg puns). We know you can pull off any length. Break a leg! (Not really though!)
