Here Comes Bridal Season

It is officially bridal show season, bridal brunches, trunk shows and conventions are planned. The thought of going to a place with nothing but people who want to help me with my wedding. This is the season for all the brides to connect and really start finalizing those wedding plans. Nothing is better than spending a day around people who want to share advice on your special day. Whether it is a bridal shower, bachelorette party, walking down the aisle or attending a friend's wedding. There's something for every girl here at NL Collective; for the 2012 bridal season, themes are going beyond just a color palate to something that ties together the whole event.

White and ivory remain overwhelmingly popular, but this year color is creeping into wedding gowns, brides maid dress and accessories from shades of cool crisp white to warmer gray earth tones. Vera Wang sent shock waves through the industry with a bride all in Goth-black  and non-traditional gowns with tones like nude and black. While Monique Lhuillier went more of the traditional route but with a pinch of pastel pink.

One detail that sometimes gets pushed back to the last minute is accessories. Your bridal jewelry is something you will keep forever and possibly hand down to your daughter one day. Tradition says you need something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. We can definitely help with the new and possibly blue! If you envision your wedding day style to be classic, romantic, trendy or eccentric, we have jewelry for every style. Take a look at our website, pictures yourself in your dress and let the NL Collective jewelry designers Julia de Ville, Marie-Lise Lapelle, Young&ng and Kristin Hanson help make your wedding day vision become a reality.
